If everyone would take the time to read this I would be forever grateful. Just 9 months ago in January, my boyfriend was innocently hanging out at a skate park with his friends when two kids approached them. They robbed them of all their cell phones, money, and ipods. After they had stolen everything they had on them the two kids began to run. But then all of a sudden one of the two kids, turned and shot at my boyfriend. The bullet hit him in the neck. This random act of violence could have taken his life but that night god was with him. They took him to the hospital and he was in the Intensive Care Unit for a couple weeks. He had a punctured lung, chest tubes, and immense amount of pain. But he always had hope. At first he only had use of his right arm after the accident. But now has worked through therapy and is able to use both. The .45 caliber bullet fragmented in his spine and left him paralyzed from the chest down. He has gone through a lot of rehabilitation and never once did he give up. He has an amazing attitude and is truly amazing. He was able to go to Craig Hospital Spinal Cord and Brain Injury Hospital in Colorado for amazing therapy. It is his dream to one day go to “Project Walk” in California. Places like that one could give him a better quality of life, and despite what doctors say, maybe one day take some steps forward. To do that, he needs every little donation he can get. You could check out his website for more information, as well as his facebook. Please do whatever you can to help him get back what these kids took away from him, his freedom and independence. No amount is too small, and I mean it. Even a reblog would help us in spread this cause. Thank you so much. Much love. <3 <3 <3
